NFL Players Props Preview: Incentives Could Fuel NFL’s Final Week
Watch Out For Players Chasing Bonuses

Week 18 NFL Player Props to Eye
The final week of the 2022 NFL teams, it means a chance to clinch a playoff spot or to get a better seed. For players, it could mean adding an extra half a million into your bank . Several NFL players are this close to cashing out on their incentives – their player bonuses.
Most of them and their NFL Player Props can be found in the sportsbook.
Kirk and Jaguars Could Go All In
The Tennessee Titans in a “win-you’re-in” type of game – to decide the AFC South champion and the fourth seed in the AFC playoffs. Star quarterback Trevor Lawrence will need to be on top of his game and to help him, wide receiver Christian Kirk should step up.
Kirk leads the Jaguars in receiving yards (1,008) and is tied with Zay Jones for catches (78). The former Cardinal signed with Jacksonville to a sizable $72-million contract.
Now, he gets a chance to earn an extra million if he can make 12 catches and gain at least 92 yards. Both fetches five-hundred thousand each as he hits the 90-reception and 1,1100 receiving yards marks.
The book expects Kirk to be more aggressive to chase these figures. Folks have already steamed his NFL Player Stats to go over the oddsmakers’ lines of 61.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions.
Lawrence targets Kirk nearly eight times a game on average and he hauls in 62.4 percent of them. Should the two have big performances, the team and Kirk will be rewarded richly.
A Pair of Chargers Face Tough Odds
The Los Angeles Chargers have already clinched a playoff spot so are not playing for much. That means the starters, namely quarterback Justin Herbert, could get some rest.
That puts the likes of tight end Gerald Everett and wide receiver DeAndre Carter at odds. The pair are just a few catches and receiving yards away from cashing in some incentives.
Everett needs five catches to hit 60 for the NFL season to receive a quarter of a million in cash incentives. As for Carter, he needs 55 receiving yards to earn $500k.
On the more optimistic side, should coach Brandon Staley elect to sit the likes of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen, this could mean more opportunities for the two. That would make them popular picks on the NFL Player Props.
The Chargers also face a NFL injury report. Denver is just two games removed from allowing 51 points against Baker Mayfield and the injury-laden Rams.
Denver did limit the Chargers to just 224 ing yards in their first game in NFL Week 6. But these two rivals have diverged significantly since.
Defenders Need Just One More
Incentives are for defensive players too, namely, rushers. Minnesota’s Za’Darius Smith and the Jets’ Carl Lawson need just one more sack to earn an extra $750K and $600K, respectively.
The Vikings face the Bears, who have one of the worst offensive lines in football.
Chicago has allowed 57 sacks this season, which is the third-most in the league. Smith shared a sack in his Week 5 game against the Bears. But he’s sacked the quarterback just 0.5 times in his last seven games.
As for Lawson, his Jets will take on the Nfl Week 5 meeting, the Jets sacked the Dolphins’ quarterbacks twice.
‘Lawson had a solo sack and seven quarterback hits in total. With seven sacks for the season, Lawson is having his most productive outing since his rookie year.’
Sacks are hard to come by and the NFL Player Props may have the ‘under’ juiced here. But given the incentives these players are aiming for, betting the over may be the shrewd tactic here.
